FAQ

Questions buyers ask us

Is anyone recorded?

No. Camera frames stay in the device's memory and are wiped right after analysis. Nothing image-like is written to disk or sent. The dashboard only receives counts and gaze seconds, and we can show you the payload during the demo.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The screen keeps playing its cached playlist without a network, and a new playlist only goes live once every file has been downloaded and checked. For the live dashboard during the demo the device needs an internet connection.

How accurate is it?

Looking / not looking and dwell time work for anyone the camera can see within about 4 m. The heat map and areas of interest use people close enough to tell one part of the ad from another (within about 1.4 m on a 27" screen). We do not publish accuracy figures yet. The on-site demo is the best way to judge it on your own screen.

Which screens are supported?

Any screen with an HDMI input, landscape or portrait. The device reads the screen size from the monitor. For projectors and TVs that don't report it, we enter the size by hand.

How long does a pilot take?

Mounting takes about 15 minutes per screen. After the demo we agree the pilot length and the screens with you, so you can compare ads, times of day and locations.

Do you need to install anything on our network?

No software is installed on your systems. The device only connects out to the dashboard to send statistics and download the playlist.
